SPIRITUALITY

Yoga as one of India's great legacies to humanity

Detailed knowledge of the body and mind, and how they influence each other, was studied by the sages of Ancient India. This study is available through the literature left in this field and continued by the various masters who teach the practice of Yoga - which includes physical exercises (asana) , chanting of Mantras, Meditation (dhyana) , and the daily cultivation of a certain state of Consciousness through actions and introspection (yamas and niyamas) .
The individual's connection to the spiritual dimension is also encompassed and explored to the limit in this practice, which fortunately we can all benefit from.

Meditation Sessions - 'Siddhyog' Method

Practical sessions in which a simple but effective Meditation method is taught.

The theoretical foundations and techniques are explained, and practice is done in a group.

It can also be practiced at home, by anyone of any age group.

Meditation Sessions - 'Siddhyog' Method

When we sit in meditation, we generate abundant spiritual energy.

Cosmic energy cleans the aura and the physical body. That's why it's recommended to use these asanas (mats), that acummulate that energy.

The first layer made of silk retains positive electric charge, and it is orange in colour, representing Fire, needed to awaken Kundalini energy. It has a Shri Yantra in the centre, helping in our progress in all aspects of life.

The second layer made of pure wool retains negative electric charge.

The bottom layer is made of mulch to isolate the energy of the Earth.

That way, the energy generated during meditation does not dissipate, it remains stored in the mat, returning to our body and mind when we need it.

Contact us if you wish to acquire an asana (meditation mat) to use in our Meditation practices, either at the session or at home.

Yoga Practice - Asana

These postures aim to prepare the body - both for Dance movements and for the stillness required by Meditation. The exercises are adapted to the level of mobility of each group.

Mantra Chanting

Mantras are sound formulas in Sanskrit that act on the mind.

They are used in Meditation, so their benefits have already been listed.

Chanting mantras creates a frequency that helps induce a meditative state.

Listening to or repeating them activates brain waves that lead to more heightened states of consciousness.

Our vital energy - prāṇa - is elevated by the use of these sounds.

It helps to change mental patterns, habits and unconscious impulses.
